Born and raised in Shibuya, Tokyo, his curiosity for living fully led him to travel across Japan and abroad during his student years. Along the way, he began to see Japanese culture not as something fixed, but as something deeply layered and lived.

Working today as an editor across music, traditional crafts, regional projects, and food culture, Roman focuses on creating work that feels grounded, offering moments of insight in an age overwhelmed by information.
